Healthcare Compliance Packaging For Liquid, Lotion and Cream Delivery Systems

The pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries have been very proactive with development of regimen packages, and for good reason. When products are packaged as a pre-measured dose regimen and/or calendar system, consumers are more likely to receive the proper dose at the right frequency over correct time period. The end result is the customer will achieve the maximum benefit from the product, and the marketer will build greater brand loyalty with increased frequency of purchasing.

However, healthcare and other industries have traditionally only developed regimen delivery systems for solid dose forms. What if the product is a liquid, lotion or cream?

A growing trend exists for liquid dose forms to be contained in regimen packages for oral, nasal and topical delivery systems. The innovations and technology now exist to allow these types of delivery systems to meet today's standards for regimen and patient compliance.

Still, many marketers do not realize that these tools are now available to them. Others are aware that regimen delivery systems for liquid doses can be created, but they are not familiar with the proper direction to take for the design and implementation of this program.

The advantages to creating a regimen delivery system make it worth the effort for marketers to look for a contract manufacturing partner with the knowledge and experience to meet, if not exceed, their expectations. These types of packages result in creating a distinct difference between brands and building a barrier of entry, offering these companies a competitive edge. They also lead to better results for the end user, who will in turn be more likely to use the product again and to recommend the product to others.
